What is MarketingWorks?
MarketingWorks is a course designed specifically for clients and agency members offering them the
opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing marketing plans and communications briefs with the guidance
and mentorship from senior and experienced marketing directors and agency leaders.
The philosophy behind this workshop is to inculcate a spirit of collaboration between clients and their agency
partners. It’s our belief that the best work comes out of an effective partnership where both parties understand
each other and appreciate one another’s strengths.
How it works?
The workshop will be made up of 8 - 10 expert Regional Marketers and Agency leaders who will act as mentors
and coach delegates, providing them with the critical insights and the in-depth knowledge to hone their marketing
skills. Our mentors are leading industry experts from various industries and disciplines bringing with them their unique
strengths and varied individual experiences.
A common brief will be provided to every team with the ultimate aim of developing:
1) A marketing plan for management
2) A communications brief for the agency.
Teams will include a mix of client-agency pairs. Delegates will gain understanding of the holistic marketing planning
process, starting with the business problem. The teams will need to present a detailed marketing plan covering all
the various stages of marketing leading up to the communications brief. Each team will have to present their work
on the second day of the workshop to a judging panel comprising of team mentors. The workshop is a residential
2 day training Course which includes one hotel night.
